Loulwa Alwahidi

After being born in the US and raised in Qatar, I relocated to London in 2011. My journey into wholesale catering didn't follow the same path as others, as I had pursued a degree in forensic science with dreams of becoming an investigator. However, after assisting my uncle and aunt at Batoolis following graduation, I immediately recognized the inviting and energetic atmosphere of the family-owned business that I desired to be a part of for the long haul.

Involved in establishing the framework for Batoolis and seeing the organization prosper as a team is what I enjoy about my contribution to the company it also motivates me to witness what began as a dream manifest as reality.

Though forensic science didn't remain my field of choice, the adaptable capabilities I've gained such as innovativeness, meticulousness, and leadership have led me to triumph in my new career path with Batoolis.

In addition to my transferable skills, I have also found that my passion for travel and exploring new cuisine has had a surprising impact at Batoolis. One of our specialties is dessert, and being able to incorporate different styles and flavors from around the world has become an exciting project for me. Working at Batoolis means that I get to combine my passion for food and exploring new cultures with my career, which has made the experience even more fulfilling.
